On Tuesday our staff in Head Office got to meet a very special guest.
Super Olivia!!
Olivia along with her parents, Sophia and Andrew were invited down to HQ so we could present them with a cheque for the whopping £10,500 that was raised after a week of fundraising.
At Rook Matthews Sayer we are no strangers to raising money for good causes and after hearing about Olivia, who is just four years old and tackling an awful disease such as leukaemia, we were desperate to help Olivia and her family. We wanted to provide them with funds to help ease some worries and get them through the next few difficult months of uncertainty. With your help we were able to smash the original target we had in mind and help take some of the financial burden off their shoulders.
We would once again like to say a huge thank you to everyone who helped raise funds, those who donated and the businesses who donated prizes or services in order for us to raise the amount we have. The North East is home to some of the most generous people in the world and we are so grateful to you all.
Olivia is such a wonderful brave little girl and she charmed us all here at head office, it was an absolute pleasure to meet her. She also showed us how she can freeze and unfreeze people with her special powers. So we will need to get her back here as soon as possible so she can unfreeze some of our colleagues!!
